Sailing into the sunset is a romantic dream – but in Luxor, it can become reality! Spend an afternoon on our felucca A NEW LIFE and enjoy the beauty of the River Nile; take a dip, cruise along the shore, watch birds, and observe the bustle of village life.

For this afternoon tour, we collect you from your hotel at 2 pm and take you to the felucca, where we welcome you on board with a glass of karkadé (hibiscus tea). While a sailor from our crew climbs up the mast to unfurl the sail, you can make yourself comfortable on the cushions. The wind picks up and we head south towards Luxor bridge. On the way, we will stop at an island where you can take a refreshing swim in the Nile if you like.

Then it’s time for afternoon tea and delicious cake.
Soon the sun begins to set in a glorious riot of reds and golds. You will be thrilled by the beautiful picture unfolding in front of you; Luxor sunsets are famously spectacular.

After a wonderfully relaxing afternoon, we’ll take you back to your hotel.
